The Cubs finally gave the fans a relaxing day beating the Indians 6-2 at Wrigley Field finishing off a three game sweep of the Tribe.
Not nearly as exciting as the previous three days, the Cubs broke open a close game scoring four times in the bottom of the fifth inning to take a 6-0 lead. The game was never in doubt the rest of the way as Randy Wells finally won his first game of the year. Derrek Lee extended his hitting streak to 18 games, Geovany Soto homered and drove in two runs backing Randy Wells who pitched 6.2 solid innings of baseball giving up just two runs on five hits walking one and striking out three. The Cubs have now won four in a row and five of their last six.
