Thursday afternoon there was pandemonium at Wrigley Field after the Cubs rallied from a four run deficit with two outs in the bottom of the eighth inning on back to back home runs from Derrek Lee and Geovany Soto. Lee hit a three run shot into the basket in right center, before Soto connected on a 1-1 pitch sending it up into the left center field bleachers to tie the game at 5 apiece.

Reed Johnson then led off the bottom of the ninth as a pinch hitter and singled to center before getting sacrificed over to second. After Aaron Miles grounded out to short for the second out, Alfonso Soriano single to right center sending the stadium and the team into a delirium on this beautiful day for baseball. For one day/night, all is well in Wrigleyville.

Awesome Kru, glad you had a good time and i bet it was one hell of a game to be at. Hopefully this kick starts something and we can get a streak going. A good streak. :)

Glad you were able to use the tickets you won here on the site. I bet your brother is wishing he wouldn't have traded you today's tickets for yesterday's tickets. haha
